On a deserted farm where former drug addicts and inmates seek reconciliation through animal husbandry, cheesemaking and prayer, the routines are disrupted by the arrival of 14-year-old Matas. Abandoned by drug-addicted parents at a young age, Matas himself struggles to overcome his own trauma. As the community bonds through shared inner conflicts, they discover how important love and support are to healing the wounds.
